## !!! ARCHIVAL ITALIAN MASTERPIECE !!!

For the serious textile collector: An exceptionally rare, fully reversible quilted jacket from the legendary golden era of Missoni (Orange Label Mainline), dating back to the late 1980s / early 1990s. This garment represents the absolute pinnacle of Italian knitwear engineering—a heavy, sculptural "double-face" construction providing two entirely distinct luxury aesthetics in one investment-grade piece.

## Design & Textile Architecture
* **Side A (The Archival Icon):** Features Missoni’s legendary "Fiammato" (Flame/Wave) space-dye pattern. Unlike standard chevron zigzags, this highly intricate motif flows in rich, organic horizontal waves of deep indigo, burnt orange, and soft violet. The fabric is a heavyweight, tactilely explosive Mohair and Virgin Wool blend with a beautiful, natural fuzzy nap.
* **Side B (The Sartorial Minimalist):** Reverses into an understated, structural charcoal-grey jacket featuring architectural vertical quilting over a premium, multi-tonal Donegal-style Confetti Tweed texture. Upon close inspection, the grey wool is woven with microscopic flecks of ochre and indigo, beautifully mirroring the color palette of the reverse side. Perfect for a muted, intellectually sharp winter aesthetic where the vibrant mohair fiammato pattern subtly flashes only at the inner collar and placket.

The jacket is engineered with a relaxed, boxy drop-shoulder silhouette (Shacket style), finished with flat tailored edges and a structured collarless neckline.

**Hardware & Branding Parameters:** The closure is anchored by premium, matching double-sided tortoiseshell resin buttons.
*Note on Archival Branding:* True to high-end vintage reversible construction, the iconic woven Orange Label was originally factory-basted with temporary, light stitches to allow seamless double-sided wear. The label has detached over time but is fully included loose with your purchase. The internal fabric composition and care tags remain pristine and intact within the pocket lining.

## Textile & Material Science
The patterned side is woven from a museum-grade blend of **58% Virgin Wool, 24% Mohair, and 18% Polyamide**, certified via the original internal legislative care tag ('Legge n.883 del 26/11/1973'). It delivers an incredibly dense, warm barrier with a rich structural hold. The structural vertical quilting locks the double-faced knit layers together, eliminating the need for a heavy interior canvas while maintaining a flawless, fluid drape.

## Curator's Condition & Transparency Report
**Condition:** Excellent Archival Condition / MINT VINTAGE
The heavy wool-mohair body exhibits perfect color saturation and structural density. No moth damage, pulled threads, or stains on either the jacquard or the grey tweed side. Minimal, entirely natural halo-pilling characteristic of premium long-hair mohair fibers. All original double-sided buttons are firmly secured. Fully dry-cleaned and ozone-sanitized in-house.

A Note on Archival Fashion
Please keep in mind that these rare pieces have lived a past life. Minimal signs of wear or a natural patina are entirely normal and part of their unique history.
Care & Condition
I treat every garment with the utmost respect. Each piece is carefully hand-washed, steamed, or ozone-treated so it reaches you in beautiful, ready-to-wear condition. However, due to the age and nature of vintage textiles, a very faint vintage scent may occasionally linger.
Sizing & Fit
To showcase the intended drape and silhouette in our editorial photos, garments that are larger than the model may be subtly pinned. Please never rely on the photos alone for sizing; always use the detailed flat-lay measurements provided in the description to ensure a perfect fit.
Color Accuracy
We strive to capture the true essence of each garment, though slight color variations may occur depending on the lighting and your screen's calibration.

To ensure absolute fairness for all of our collectors, we operate strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not accept reservations or higher bids on items that have already been sold. Additionally, as our prices reflect the rarity, authentication, and extensive restoration of each piece, they are strictly non-negotiable. Please take the time to review all measurements and details carefully before securing your piece.
